I saw Rebecca as your first choice and it made me stop and think, what? Oh yeah...the book...lol. I'm sooo ready for a nap!
Thanks for playing this week, Melissa. Good answers. I haven't read Rebecca or We Need to Talk About Kevin, though both are on my TBR list. I will have to remember your warning ;).
You'll definitely have to check them out. "Rebecca" is a favorite of mine. Be forewarned that "We Need to Talk About Kevin" was a controversial book that dealt with sensitive material, but I thought it was masterfully handled.
We created this blog to voice our opinions about life, issues we're dealing with and to share ideas with others.
There are two of us who write the blog, rotating to focus on different things we feel passionate about or deal with in our day-to-day lives.
We are both in our mid 20s and in the Midwest. One of us is a stay-at-home mom with two beautiful kids, a husband and a passion for organization, green living and thrifty crafts. The other is a newly married bibliophile who works in the advertising world and loves all things related to theater and travel.
We'll post about DIY projects, books we're reading, issues with careers, marriage, kids, the arts, travel and a myriad of other things.
We welcome your comments and questions!

ReplyDeleteI have Mrs. Danvers, too and really considered Kevin. I forgot Miss Trunchbull--she really was awful!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! I'm going to do it too.
ReplyDeleteI love the movie "Matilda" and have the book on my wishlist.
