Christmas with toddlers is totally different from Christmas with other ages. They rip into one present, just to rush into the next. There is no savoring each thoughtful gift. So, I am trying this year to prolong the 15 minute celebration by creating "clues". These clues took me just a few minutes to dream up and will hopefully create a little bit of "I worked to get this" attitude. My four year old son can read and this will be something he will enjoy helping his one year old sister complete together. The last clue will lead them to a Nativity Playmobil set.....Pointing them to the real reason for the holiday season! Merry Christmas! :)
